LA Weekly Cover and Editorial Spread

Designing for a piece about the Machine Gallery in Echo Park was a great chance to try something Creative using the same type of materials and thinking that was talked about in the story. Since these guys at Machine Gallery are into odd experimental concepts I thought I would translate a bit of that to my own design. I dismantled the masthead, screwed it back together and collated images of several pieces that were part of the story to entice readers to pick up the issue to read more.
