> LA WEEKLY PUNK PHOTO ESSAY
Letting the photography dictate the design of this cover and photo essay by JEnnifer Finch (L7), a punk asthetic emereged with spot color to pop off the black and white photography.

The photo essay chronicals life in the 1980's LA Punk scene featuring early photographs of Black Flag, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Mike Ness, Bad Religion as well as many other faces and stories that had never seen the light of day before this feature. I was told this was the most destroyed the LA Weekly masthead has ever looked. I couldn't be more proud.
